In antiquity. Carry a piece of the past with you with this stunning Roman coin key chain.

These Roman bronze coins were referred to as ‘Follis’, meaning ‘bag’ in Latin - indicating that these coins would often be used in large quantities to carry out a transaction, given their relatively low face value.

On the Obverse of the coins are depicted various Roman emperors of the likes of Constantine the Great, Diocletian and Maxentius to name a few. These coins were struck in bronze - a sturdy metal not as prone to corrosion, allowing these coins to be available to us, nearly 2000 years later, in this impeccable condition.

These very coins would have been used to purchase loaves of bread and bottles of wine in ancient roman markets; or perhaps, they may have constituted a laborer or Legionnaire’s daily wage.

We set this unique centuries-old piece in sterling and hung it on a durable steel key ring.
