Labradorite Looking Glass Necklace - OOAK
This stunning faceted labradorite has an amazing color flash. This uniquely cut stone changes color from bright turquoise blue to yellow to orange to a freckled purple depending on the light. It's held beautifully by an open-backed "looking glass" setting that allows light to freely pass through it. Hung on a long and substantially weighty chain with organically shaped details.
Labradorite is a member of the Feldspar family and is treasured for its remarkable play of color, known as labradorescence. The stone, usually gray-green, dark gray, black or grayish-white, is composed in aggregate layers that refract light as iridescent flashes of peacock blue, gold, pale green, and coppery red.
Sterling silver and labradorite. Chain is 30" long and the pendant is approx 1.5" x 1".
