Spend the evening with your partner making yours (or each other's) beautiful wedding bands. GIA Certified jeweler Alexa Suess will show you how to cut and file your metal, learn the nuances of soldering and textured forging, and explore the many ways to treat, polish, mattify, oxidize and otherwise finish the rings to your liking. All tools are included and no experience is necessary - just bring yourselves!
Includes a bottle of complimentary sparkling wine and two bars of Disset Atelier chocolate.
This is a private class so you choose the date. We only host private classes when the shop is closed so you'll have the whole workspace to yourself!
This course includes sterling silver material for your bands as well as all necessary tools. If you'd like to use 14k or 18k yellow gold, that cost will be added based on market price. Note that we don't offer white gold or platinum.
All participants must be 18+ for insurance purposes. You are welcome to bring food and/or beverages!
Since we will be working with hand tools and treatment chemicals, please wear clothes you wouldn't mind getting dirty. We do not recommend attending this class if you are pregnant.
