Lifetime Guarantee
We want you to love your pieces for life. Our guarantee covers the free repair or replacement by us of solid 14k gold items sold on our site for life if one of the covered damages should occur. Care for them properly and your new jewelry will last for generations.
The following types of damages are covered by this limited lifetime guarantee:
- Loose stones
- Defective & broken clasps
- Broken chains
- Broken bands
- Loose prongs & settings
- Rings becoming "out of round" over time
The following types of damages are NOT covered as they are not considered normal wear and tear:
- Severely bent bands
- Cracks or surface damage to pearls due to improper wear
- Cracked or crazed opals due to improper wear
- Significant structural damage due to an accident
- Severe scratching to stones
Please report damages as soon as possible. Damaged items MUST be sent to us for inspection. If the item is missing, we cannot offer a replacement. For repairs, please see instructions below.
Please note that many of our stones are natural and may feature inclusions such as small cracks, imperfections or variations in color are considered normal and not damage. Particular examples include moonstone, opals, tourmalines, and labradorites.
Repairs
Please contact us at www.commongroundjewelry.com/pages/contact-us to start the repair process, and allow 6-8 weeks for the return of the item. If for some reason a repair cannot be made, Common Ground reserves the right to offer a store credit up to the purchase price of the item.
