Moroccan Ammonite Fossil with Stand

Cut from the arid flats of Morocco, this ammonite fossil is from the Late Cretaceous epoch - approx 75 million years ago. Ammonites are a type of extinct marine animal similar to nautilus, with a spiral-shaped shell divided into chambers. They were once the most abundant animals of the ancient seas.

They are completely natural and free of dyes or synthetics. Each is one of a kind in size, shape, and coloring. Note that these things will vary from stone to stone - we will pick a beautiful one just for you.

Each measure approx 4.5" x 4.5" x 1" and will include a black metal display stand.
