American Druzy Ammonite Fossil

Cut from the salt flats of Wyoming, this ammonite fossil is from the Late Cretaceous epoch - approx 75 million years ago. Ammonites are a type of extinct marine animal similar to nautilus, with a spiral-shaped shell divided into chambers. They were once the most abundant animals of the ancient seas. This unique fossil has druzy formations in the chambers.

You will be getting the exact fossil. It measures approx 3.5" x 4" x 1" and includes a black metal display stand.
