14k Kornerupine + Natural Diamond Spearmint Ring - One of a Kind
Kornerupine? Never heard of her? Well, meet kornerupine, a gem that’s been captivating collectors since its discovery in Greenland back in 1887. Named after the Danish naturalist, artist, and explorer Andreas Nikolaus Kornerup, this gemstone is a true hidden treasure. Incredibly rare in totality, this particular stone is even more rare with its large size of over three carats.
The round cut stone itself has a galaxy of blue and green inclusions and shifts from a minty green color to a darker seafoam blue. We protected it in a band of 14k gold and gave it six little diamond friends to keep it company. With a stunning art nouveau style undercarriage, and a knife edge band, this ring is as unique as it is rare.
Lovely as a right hand ring, wedding ring, or an engagement ring.
