This unique rainbow moonstone has a colorless quality upon first glance but move it just a little and it comes alive with bands of bright orange, gold, pink, green, and blue. The colors shown in rainbow moonstone depend on trace mineral inclusions, but all rainbow moonstones have a property known as 'adularescence' - a fancy technical term for that gorgeous shimmering iridescent glow which seems to emanate from within the gem itself.

We set this deeply cut rainbow moonstone in a heavy 14k gold bezel setting with teeny cutout details on the back. Hung on a heavyweight 14k trombone chain. The chain is adjustable and has a lovely little charm keeper ring on it so you can add or subtract your favorite pendants and charms.
