"Blue onyx" is a fascinating stone. Sometimes referred to as "aquatine" or "lemurian aquatine," this stone isn't aquatine or even onyx at all, but a rare form of blue calcite that comes to us from Argentina. Its beautiful matrix reminds us of coral reefs or shorelines.
