Mini Utah Topaz Specimen
This lovely topaz comes from Topaz Mountain in Utah - one of the best places in the world to find fine topaz. The topaz crystals from this mine are fascinating in color - they are naturally honey to amber toned but become colorless after extensive exposure to sunlight.
The crystals formed within cavities of the Topaz Mountain rhyolite, a volcanic rock which erupted approximately six to seven million years ago from volcanic vents along faults in the area. This is a great little collector's piece from the great state of Utah.
Known as a stone of love and loyalty, topaz historically carries significant meaning. Known for honesty, clarity, and strong emotional attachment.
