Small Pyrite Sphere

This metallic mineral has a fascinating past. Pyrite’s name comes from the Greek, pyrites lithos, “the stone which strikes fire." In the early mining days of California, novice gold prospectors mistook tiny pieces of pyrite for gold when panning. Thus, its common nickname: fool's gold. It takes a few natural 'habits' - or forms, often presenting in almost perfect cubes or octahedrons. 

Spiritually, pyrite is known for wealth, abundance, and confidence. 

Each sphere is hand cut and is approx 2" large. We include a little wood stand so you can easily display your sphere on a desk, altar, or bookshelf. Each stone is completely natural and free of dyes or synthetics. Each is one of a kind in size, shape, and coloring. Note that these things will vary from stone to stone.
