Pyrized Ammonite Fossil Necklace - One of a Kind

Sale price$220.00 USD

A lovely little addition to any fossil lover's jewelry collection. We carefully caged this pyrized ammonite in a freeform prong setting so you can see all angles of this unique piece.

Ammonites are a group of extinct molluscs that date back to the Cretaceous Period 120 million years ago. The fossilized remains of these sea creatures are perhaps the most popular fossils today. This fossil is 100% natural and not coated or treated. Its unique metallic shine comes from pyrization - a process where pyrite replaces the organic material the shell was made from.

Spiritually, fossilized ammonite is known to be a stone of ancestral wisdom and knowledge. Pyrite is known for wealth, abundance, and confidence.
