Raw Kyanite Spear

Mined in Namibia, these lovely denim blue spears of kyanite show their form beautifully. Kyanite has the ability to display cat's eye chatoyancy, an effect that makes it look like it's glowing from within. Its name comes from the same origin as that of the color "cyan", derived from the Ancient Greek word κύανος.
