Trilobite Fossil Midnight Necklace - One of a Kind

520- 250 million years old, trilobites are an extinct marine arthropod group– a family that includes present-day crustaceans and spiders. They were among the first animals to develop complex, compound eyes, with lenses made of calcite. Trilobite fossils are found on every continent, with high-grade specimens coming from locations including Utah, New York, and Morocco.

We framed this trilobite fossil in sterling and held it in place with chunky prongs. Completed with a matte finish and a heavy, adjustable sterling chain.
